Re: Time to charge at home
I don't own a Zappi charger myself, but it looks like you're not the only one that's suffering and is affecting ID.3 cars too. There are a few threads in the sister ID.3 Forums: https://www.id3forums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=822&start=10 From the snippets I've seen: Use the We Connect app to "...

Re: On board hot spot
The service appears to be offered through Cubic Telecom.
More details here: https://vw.cubictelecom.com/en
It looks like you can get 1GB for free that's valid for up to 90 days.
Anything beyond that you have to pay.

Re: ID 4 charge range
At the end of the day it boils down to two factors: Outside ambient temperature and your style of driving. Have a look at the data you are seeing in the car. What mi/kWh are you getting Since Last Charge, Since Start and Long Term Data? From what I've experienced, I've seen my remaining range go dow...

Re: Software Updates
Sounds like your dealer at least knows about the 2.4 upgrade. Spoke to mine beginning of May and the person I spoke to (Servicing) looked up my reg and said there was no 'outstanding recall action' on it, but they would get in touch with me if it did.

Re: We Charge
Thanks AndyF, will look to use Gridserve instead. It looks like they have a massive charging hub at the Moto Services near Exeter with 12 350kW chargers so there's no need to worry about queueing for one on the way to Cornwall.

Android Auto - Upcoming updates
Google has shared some upcoming updates to Android Auto arriving this summer at their 2022 I/O developer conference. Key takeaway is the refreshed UI involving a split-screen mode that scalable across different display types, essentially allowing Google Maps, media controls and other necessary featu...

Re: Sat Nav update suggestions
So... there seems to be this from VW: https://app-connect.volkswagen.com/mapupdates/en/car/ You can select ID.4 as car model and download a new .tar file with map updates, which you then have to copy onto a USB stick and plug it into the car, then start the car up to which it will then automatically...

Re: We Charge
Now that I'm running up to the end of my free We Charge Go plan, I'm switching to We Charge Free which will now be charging: AC: £0.45 / kWh DC: £0.60 / kWh AC IONITY: £0.69 / kWh DC IONITY: £0.69 / kWh Blocking fees (which I think sounds like a surcharge if you leave your car charging when it's don...

Re: Your experiences with the ID4
Hi Vander, welcome. Here are some of my thoughts on your questions - - Polestar/BZ4X: Whilst the Polestar may have Google integrated into the car giving you the advantage of Google Maps' route planner that also includes charging stop planning, its boot space is small (405L). I had the opportunity to...
