Re: Losing patience!

Losing and now lost patience. Got to 29k miles and having encountered numerous functional issues and sporadic error messages it’s gone. It’s a shame as I believe that the ID4 is a great car but the one I got lumbered with was a donkey. As an early adopter I could understand if it was tech issues wit...

Re: Losing patience!

And the saga continues!!!! Car delivered to JCT600 Wakefield on the 5th Sept for further warranty work and a shiny Tiago courtesy car was waiting. Wakefield couldn’t repair the issues so sent the car to Sheffield! Sheffield now think more parts needed and so there it sits …… week 3 in a Tiago and ex...

Losing patience!

11 months in 21000 miles covered and losing confidence, not just with the car but the dealership!!! February was the first occurrence of a “child lock fault” on the rear doors, sporadic and still present. June, as the weather warmed and the first need for air con it lasted two days then it was gone....

Tesla chargers

Hi, Tesla have opened up a select number of sites for non-Tesla charging and wondered if anyone has used one yet? Charging rates etc. I ask as a regular charging stop-off of mine on the A14 has both Ionity and Tesla chargers, the Ionity is poor charging rate, no better than a conventional 50kWh char...

Re: ~10k vehicle inspection

Thanks for the info. Note to self ……. Must read the instruction manual once found! With the lack of all the usual service checks expected around an oil burning lump and the great opportunity that brings for charging extortionate prices for oil, filters etc it looks like they have replaced a lot of t...

Re: ~10k vehicle inspection

Service? Had mine since mid September so just 6 months in and 14k on the clock and had no reminders! Can’t be that much to check anyway.

Re: Declining Range

Hi The colder days and darker days are certainly taking a hit on the range as you would imagine. ID4 Max, which has the heat pump but not sure what it’s doing, 10 weeks in now with 6500 miles on the clock and consumption has dropped from around 3.1 average to 2.7. Typical day yesterday 150 miles dur...

Re: Declining Range

4 weeks in and 2500 miles covered and getting just 3.2 mi/kWh. Decided when I jumped to electric that I wasn’t going to change my driving style so economy of use not my primary concern. Most mileage is M and dual carriageway and cruise set slightly above what it should be to get there 😉! Charging an...

Re: Welcome from West Yorkshire!

Well that went better than expected. A confident and comfortable first outing and returned 3.9 miles/kWh …. thats good enough to park the range anxiety.
