Re: Id4 - puncture repair - using 12v socket
There is also a fuse that you can change the position of, so the 12v socket is always live. (At your own risk, of course... I did it the day I got mine, and I couldn't tell you now, which fuse it was!)

0% charge after software update!
I'm still on 3.0, and today I got a "minor" software update to monitor for imbalanced battery discharging (or something like that). We're on holiday, so I parked up, with 50% remaining, set it downloading, and went off to walk the dog. Came back an hour later, and the battery is on 0%, wit...

Re: Lane assist
Thanks Andy, I thought that might be the case because I've seen posts about US models not having side sensors, and I don't have parking sensors on the side, and I don't have Park Assist Plus. Its a shame because the manual says Auto Lane Change uses the same technology as Lane Assist and Travel Assi...

Re: Lane assist
I feel like I am missing something with Lane Assist / Travel Assist / Auto Lane change / "swarm data"... I have software 3.0, and I have Travel Assist and Lane Assist, so I should be able to enable Auto Lane change, right? But pressing "Set" on a multilane motorway just resets th...

Re: Delivery Due?
Just heard from my dealer that my 52kWh, ordered 31/7/21, now has a provisional build week of 4th April... over the last 6 weeks or so, that's pushed back from early Feb, to late Feb, to mid March. In the meantime I've spent over £1k getting my existing car through its MOT... a car that should have ...

Re: Delivery Due?
Mine has now pushed back to week 4, still provisional.
I've suggested maybe they throw in a mains charger as compensation...

Re: Delivery Due?
I ordered end of July, was told 4-5 months, now I have a provisional build week of week 1... "which is likely to move back". Just checked the paperwork and noticed that says Estimated handover 28/2/2022 !

Re: Improved mileage
I heard that D mode with Eco (?) turned on is good - doesn't that do regenerative braking when it knows there is a bend / Junction / turning coming up?

Re: Improved mileage
I'm not sure how the centre of gravity being low, would help with coasting.... it still has the same momentum (and it's still going to be slowed by air resistance and rolling resistance) ?
