Goodbye
Today I said goodbye to my ID4 1st Edition. It's been a great car to drive and I will definitely not be going back to petrol or diesel. I was originally looking at an ID4 Max last year, but VW discontinued them. I wanted something a little more than the 1st Edition had, so now I'm moving on. Thanks ...

Re: New ID4 Owner
I can only help you with one of your questions. Yes, it does have a heated windscreen. I've never heard about a Sound Deadening pack, but I find the ID4 to be very quiet.

Re: Auto Mirror Positioning
I don't think so, I think it's dependent on the memory module which comes with electric seats etc. It certainly doesn't work on my 1st Edition.

Re: What's your mi/kWh (miles per kilowatt hour)?
I'm following a similar driving regime to AndyF and since my software update to v3.0, I'm averaging 4m/kWh.

Re: New to us ID4
Good Day and hello, Two days ago we took delivery of our June 2022 demonstrator from our VW dealer. ID4 pro Performance 77KWh. Our previous 2016 Passat Alltrack estate was in for its MOT earlier in the month and I got a valuation that was very good in my eyes. We had a solar system with battery, an...

Re: Id4 - puncture repair - using 12v socket
You all probably know that ID cars are fitted with “VW resealable tyres” and so no repair kit, let alone spare tyre, is supplied. However, thought I should share the following: In the event you need to pump up an affected tyre, and assuming you are not on a garage forecourt, you’ll need to plug in ...

Re: Reduced Charging Following Minor Software Update
Didn't change any settings. All settings were fine. Charging over that short period went from 2kWh, then to 4kWh, then 7kWh. A complete mystery.

Re: Reduced Charging Following Minor Software Update
Well, later yesterday I paused the charge and went for a short drive. When I got back, I tried another charging session. This time, the charge rate went up to 4kWh. I left it for a while, then unplugged overnight. This morning, I've tried another charging session and lo and behold the charge rate ha...

Reduced Charging Following Minor Software Update
My ID4 received a minor OTA update on Thursday and it only took a few minutes. This morning I decide to charge the car as it was down to 30%. Everything started okay, but then I noticed my smart meter was only showing just over 2kWh. I checked the app and car and yes it was only charging at 2kWh. I ...
