Re: Problems With Home Charging Since v2.4
The good thing is the new 3.1 software that I've got in my id5 has now fixed this issue, so it's definitely a VW issue.

Re: Problems With Home Charging Since v2.4
The problem is the car not the charger as the identical thing happens to me with my Ohme. If you pause and then resume it charges fine but it means that you have to do this just as your cheap tariff starts in the early hours.

Re: VW Customer Services - waste of time
Wow that is just awful. It seems that all the big manufacturers are now using their customer service teams merely as a buffer for the manufacturer and to pile the problems on the dealership. It’s not so long ago you could ring up the CS and find out how long you’d be waiting for collection of your n...

Re: Optimistic range?
Mine showed 345 miles at 100% and I've got to say that with the 3.0 software it's noticeably better on range / efficiency than my last one with 2.3. That said I find my driving style has changed to be more careful. That'll soon change as the winter approaches. For further info I used my wife's ID3 y...

Re: Abnormal tyre wear
Not that I’ve noticed but I was surprised to find that the tyres they fit to evs aren’t the 8mm you get with most cars but just 6mm. That said, it doesn’t explain uneven wear.

Genuine VW Roof Bars for Sale
Hi all, I bought a set of Genuine VW ID.4 roof bars for my car last December, which are no longer required. Used for one three day road trip and stored in the garage after that. In excellent condition. They have the instruction and both keys but not the original box as the dealership threw it away. ...

Re: An unexpected turn of events
Well Done! I was in the dealership yesterday too and they had an ID5 in the showroom. Although this one was white. It looks really nice in the metal. They mentioned to me that they had to hold onto it for 12 months as a demo, so you've done really well.

Selling mine if anyone is interested
Hi, This afternoon I was offered a deal on a new id4 that will arrive at the dealers in a week or so and so the upshot is that I’m selling my December 2021 I’d.4 Max in white with the bi colour and the 21 inch wheels. It’s currently just under 3k miles but I’m driving to the Yorkshire moors at the e...
