Re: About to buy a ID4

Not really. The test drive is just for you to get a feel for the car. When you move the drive selector switch it has two modes "D" and "B". I found the "D" mode a bit unnerving as the car doesn't really slow when you lift your foot off the accelerator. You may find that...

Re: Charging on Intelligent Octopus Go Tarrif

You definitely need to check two things:- 1) That your charger is compatible with Intelligent Octopus 2) That it's been set up properly. 3) That your smart meters are working properly in smart mode. I had a similar problem initially (I have a Zappi) but Octopus were able to do something their end th...

Re: Amber battery symbol... Help please!

Struggling a bit here as the ID4 is electric and has no ignition. Do you mean that when you pushed the brake to switch the car on, it disappeared? If so, I think that's normal.

Re: Software Update 3.2

Ok - I had another update OTA. Still says 3.2 so no idea what was in it. Still no difference at all as far as I can see. One thing I did spot. The wing mirror courtesy lights that spray a sort of Renault logo onto the pavement now seem to have a superimposed bull head shape. It just looks like they ...

Depending on your model, it may just be OTA. Mine was.

Software Update 3.2

Well, after a 2.5 hour update where I couldn't use the car, I was expecting great things...

Nope. The touchscreen is still worse than the little one in my Fiat 500.

Has anyone spotted any material differences?

Re: Abnormal tyre wear

Seems a bit short. My tyres were down to 2mm at about 17,000 miles, front and back.

Software wise I'm on 3.1. I'd have to check the firmware in the morning :-)

ID4 Software - Beta programme?

Anyone know if there is a beta programme or users group for ID software development?

I'd be interested in getting involved, just can't find out if there is such a thing...

Re: Sports mode on non-performance

My ID4 Pro has sports mode. IMHO it makes it a bit nippier off the starting blocks although not a huge difference from comfort mode. Eco is the one where you really notice the acceleration slowed down. I used sports mode yesterday to burn off an Audi at the lights that looked as though he was going ...
