Re: First service
Stupid question but did you all wait for the car to tell you that it was due a service or did you go on mileage/age? We are approaching 30k miles and two years ownership but had nothing pop up on the car to mention a service as yet..... I knew it was about due but the car also informed me “xx days ...

Re: First service
I booked mine in for it's first service yesterday and was offered a service plan, which included brake fluid change, pollen filter and an MOT next year, all for £199.99. They also advised me that there was a recall for a problem with the hinges on the rear doors. I asked about software v3 and was m...

Re: Cubic Telecom Account
I, like everyone else am stuck with Cubic Telecom as the provider of connectivity between the car and the internet. I need to change my email address with them but I can’t find a way of changing it as it’s greyed out. I tried creating a new account but all that did was make me a secondary user for ...

First service
Took my ID4 1st edition in for its first service yesterday. I’d bought the service plan so nothing to pay. Service receptionist, “I see it’s due an A/C service, would you be interested at a hundred and something pounds.” “No thanks.” I said. (Probably way cheaper elsewhere and it works fine anyway.)...

Re: Software 2.4 update with battery swap ...
As I recently booked my 2 year inspection online there was an option to also receive a complementary software update which I booked. You should be able to book it alone through VW website, start here: https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/en/owners-and-drivers/service-booking.html#/vw-data/osb Yes, I ticked...

Re: Mirrors not folding out when unlocking
What’s the outside temperature? I’ve had this and it’s usually when it’s below freezing and I’ve remotely set A/C. They usually open out when ready or you can override on the mirror control.

Re: Everyone has heard of them but nobody has seen one...
Those of you waiting months for your ID4’s have the patience of a Saint. I’d have told them to shove it long ago. I waited five days for mine, albeit an ex demo 1st edition model. I take my hat off to you all. Advice? There’s so many good cars out there now at a similar price or less. Secure one of ...

Re: How Do You Charge?
Public charging is what I do. I don’t have off street parking unfortunately. I could dig up the front garden but that’s an expense I don’t want and isn’t very green. Dropping the kerb has to be done by the council and that’s nearly a grand. So I use the local GeniePoint chargers, not the best but I’...

Re: First service
Two front tyres £504 😱 booked service online and dealer came and contradicted all the pricing. Was about to tell them to **** *** when they offered a retrospective service plan, pay monthly at 0% interest. Covers service, brake fluid and an MOT next year too. All of it is transferable should you sel...
