Keyless entry/exit with beep?

Has anyone noticed if on their id4, when the walk away keyless locking operates, does the car beep to confirm locking.

My 2022 GTX does not and although it is happy to use keyless entry, you have to touch the door handle indentation to get it to lock, although that sometimes plays silly sods.

Only the most recent models (2024) have the "lock on walk-away" feature. And I think it's only on software V5.

Not everyone likes the way it operates, though. My 2022 doesn't have it, and probably won't ever get it.

Several users report that the car does chirp to confirm locking, and [post edited] there is an option to have a double audible alert if locking fails (eg beacuase a door is open).

I can confirm it is on version 4.4 software and as Vander described. It was not turned on by default on our vehicle, there are a couple of settings you can play with.
