So we booked a test drive for an ID.3 last Sunday, walked into the showroom and quickly changed to test drive the ID.4. 1 hour later we had ordered ID.4 148PS Life Pure Moonstone Grey which should be delivered by the end of the month as it was from a stock order from our dealer saying bye to our 2010 Golf TDI

Cannot wait for our first EV, and we are also planning to drive down to the French Alps on Christmas Day 820 miles. Now having fun with ABRP app planning the route. Route timings don't look much different from our journey in the summer in our T5.1 Camper, just need to time the kids wee stops with charging

Call from the dealer, car is built and through Phase 8 production so all set for delivery end of the month. cannot wait.

Great news. An early Christmas present then.

Car arrives with dealer Monday and we collect Thursday
