exiting news! (hopefully you'll get it very soon!) i suspect it must have been on of the many cars stuck 'waiting for semi conductors'/wiring harness'es since your original build was back in march.

out of interest what dealer did you order it from?

Well its now in Grimsby ordered from Marshall Scunthorpe, hopefully get it next week.

Geeky question, but does anybody know a way from the car itself that i can find out what the build week was? I am just wondering how long it was sat waiting for its semiconductors. I thought somebody mentioned a sticker on the inside of the door, but can't find the post?

Pick up our ID4 Max on Saturday. Ordered May 21. Came with 2.3 software and no side sensors. But at least we have it now.

i remembered seeing something about this over on the id.3 forums

We ordered ID4 Life52kwh Pure 148PS 26.11.21 Last update from Swansway was due to be built week 22, does anyone know when its likely to come at all??

We had an update the other day, ours was ordered 21/11/21 same as yours pure life 52kwh. We’ve now been told build week 40, not best pleased really as it’s always being pushed back every time we ask for an update.

Picked ours up 1st June, very impressed with the range to say its the small battery, knocking on the door of 200 miles per charge (90% max) with a fair bit of motorway miles. Compared to our ICE car aready saved over £60 in fuel

Thanks for that will ring for an update on ours then thought this might be the case

Congratulations! Whats happening about the missing parts though? That sounds like a fairly major omission.

Side sensors are the latest spec (as well as other updates) but our car was built to the original spec when we ordered. Annoying that cars ordered after our but delivered before got them but at least we have it now.
