Email from Swansay to say our ID4 Pure Life 52 has been built and being shipped! ordered 26.11.21, so exciting for us but I can see lots are still waiting for theirs! Just need to sort a home charge point now!

How long from shipping to dealer?

For me, I think it was just over two weeks to dealer, and I had it with me just under three weeks after shipping.

Cheers I'm in Dublin and my dealer said yesterday my id4 gtx is built and ready for handing over to transportation next week. Hopefully have it sometime in July

Hi guys, I ordered my ID4 on the 23/11/21 I was told 6 to 9 months for delivery. I have just been told by the dealer the build wk is 38 so would that be around September or October time? It's a motability order with alloy wheels. I am new to the site and just finding my way around hope you can help thanks Phil.

Hey, your lead time sounds about right we ordered around that time too and was told May delivery but now the build date has been pushed back to week 40. Ours was also a motability order from parkway Volkswagen in derby. It’s crazy isn’t it how ours went from a 6 month wait to a 12+ month wait.

Yes it does seem strange that, fingers crossed it may be earlier, but not holding out for an early Christmas present

As you say strange, we ordered our basic ID.4 in July 2021, we were told back then it would 9-12 months. It arrived March 2022. Same dealer now quoting 12-15 months on new orders.
On the positive side, it was all quite, and then suddenly it arrived in UK.

Fingers crossed for everyone.

Estimated revised delivery date 5/9/22

Just been informed of an unconfirmed week 40 build by dealer, with maybe a November delivery. The revised estimated delivery date given in March and confirmed on Monday this week has only been updated further now after an assertive push by me for more information.

This order is through Leaseplan who are ordering with the dealer Windrush. I was informed on the phone that lease vehicles only get limited build week spots by the garage each week with rest going to retail customers which is probably why I can see people who ordered theirs after mine and have received their ID4 already.
