A few days ago I received in car notification of an update which I installed in a few minutes.

This is not the much awaited 2.3 update which should be with us imminently, but the text suggests it may be necessary to prepare the system to support the big 2.3 update.

It includes a new app for the infotainment system that lets you search for We Charge compatible chargers that can then initiate the separate sat-nav. A bit clunky and not had much of a try yet.

Anyone else had a sniff of 2.3 yet?

Update text was:

"Background System Services:
- minor improvements
- Errors fixed.
INFO ABOUT UPDATE:
- improved display of further info about over-the-air updates using images and text
- List of supported languages expanded
WE CHARGE:
- Details of the charging stations... etc"

I wonder if this includes a necessary fix to prepare for 2.3 bundled with this new app?

Thanks for sharing, always nice to get a heads up. I hear 2.3 is a beast of an update (size wise) so maybe as you suggested, this contained part of the package in prep.
