Does anyone else think the range of the key fob is woeful? With my previous car (Volvo V40) I could easily lock/unlock from inside my home. Not possible with my ID.4 in fact it would seem I need to be within 3m at most to operate!

Quite the opposite for me. Excellent range including from inside the house. I've also got a silicone key fob cover.

I have noticed the same thing, my old Jeep i could unlock a good distance away. A few steps away from my ID 4 and its struggles

Rather smart, where did you get it from?

Re range, I wonder if my fob has a dodgy battery? Will have to work out how to replace it...

Here's a link for the key fob cover. They are available elsewhere, but on Ebay, there's no p&p to pay.

It came from Germany and arrived pretty quick.

@Warrior, thanks. I'll check it out. Re key fob battery I had a couple of increments today where the car stopped because it couldn't find the key!

Mine's woeful too, compared to my previous Outlander PHEV
