Got my ID4 yesterday and was under the impression you got both a 3 pin cable and the type 2 cable as standard?

Sorry to say, you only get the type 2 cable. Before I had my charge point installed, I bought myself a 3 pin (Granny) cable to get me by. They're not cheap, but I managed to get a Masterplug branded one from Screwfix, which was the cheapest at the time.

I was also recommended the Masterplug branded one from Screwfix

Is this the one you got, this is the 10 meter version? (they also do a 5 meter)

I also have the screw fix granny charger, used it on holiday a few weeks ago. My only caveat with these is don’t use it with an extension lead if you can avoid it and ensure your socket is sound. When they’re pulling around 10A for a while, any poor connection will generate heat at the weak point with potential for a fire. Imagine boiling a kettle for several hours.
If you can, use the type 2 in a proper charger and use the 13A one for emergency use only.

Follow AndyF's advice and certainly do not use an extension lead. I only used mine on a temporary basis before my home charger was installed and have carried it with me on the only long journey I've undertaken so far, just for emergency use. Invest in a good home charge point if you can. I went for an E.O.Mini Pro2. It's really neat and compact.

Thought that the omission of a 13amp cable was an error on the ID4 spec sheet until I joined the Forum. Have managed to get my order for a new 55 Pure changed to factory supplied at cost of £180.
