ID.4 voice control not connected error

I’ve been driving my ID.4 for a few days now and when I attempt to use voice control to navigate to a landmark the car just says “sorry, unable to connect to the internet, please try again later”.

I can see signal bars and 4G signal and a globe icon. Does voice control/navigation use a different network connection to the built-in one. I’m somewhat confused.

Car is connected to We Connect ID app okay.

Has 3.0.0 software.
