Volkswagen ID4 Forum

So out of the blue on Wednesday I got a call from my dealer.

Odd, I thought, as it's usually on a Tuesday that he rings, once per month, to tell me that my ID4 is still at status 00.

Long story short, he was offering first refusal on a shiny blue ID5 unexpectedly allocated to the dealership. I've been along this morning to see their demonstrator and have signed up on the purchase. Delivery next week fingers crossed.

My ID4 is still on order, but I expect it to be next year before I trade in the ID5 for my Max.

Well Done! I was in the dealership yesterday too and they had an ID5 in the showroom. Although this one was white. It looks really nice in the metal. They mentioned to me that they had to hold onto it for 12 months as a demo, so you've done really well.
