Hi,
I'm relocating back from the USA to Europe in early 2024. I'm looking to buy a low milage ID4 (2021 or 2022 model) in the USA, drive it for a year here and then bring it back to Danmark as moving goods. Are there any spec differences between the ID4 cars sold in the USA vs Europe?
I know there are difference in the 2023 model as it is being manufactured in the USA with a different battery vendor, but the models produced in 2021 and 2022 were all exported from Germany to the USA.
My main concern/question is:
1) Will there be any compaibility issues with charging the car i Europe (i.e. different 'plugs')?
2) Is the manufacture warranty global or specific to the region where the car was bought?
I'm trying to get this information from my local VW dealership, but they just want to buy back the car after a year (-:
