Expensive month ahead 😱
I guess like many of us my first service is due and two front tyres added to that won’t be less than £700+
What I did notice on the online booking form at Listers Evesham was a check box for complimentary software updates. I wonder if this will have v3.x included. I’ve had 2.4 and aux battery replaced so all that is good, has anyone seen this or had it done? Failing that, I’ll know more on St Patrick’s day when it goes in. Best start saving up.

I was due 4 new tyres (cracking due to age), service and MOT, so it seemed easiest to sell the car!

Dealers aren't doing 3.0 so you won't get that unfortunately, need to wait for VW to get themselves together and start rolling it out OTA.

Two front tyres £504 😱 booked service online and dealer came and contradicted all the pricing. Was about to tell them to **** *** when they offered a retrospective service plan, pay monthly at 0% interest. Covers service, brake fluid and an MOT next year too. All of it is transferable should you sell the car too. Booked in for the 20th

I've been quoted by VW £338.10 for a first service when due. Do you think it's worth doing? Seems high given it's mostly an inspection. To keep VW warranty does it have to be VW dealer service the car?

Wow, that's insanely expensive. And no it doesn't have to be a VW dealer.
Try these, https://www.cleevelyev.co.uk/electric-v ... servicing/ - EV specialists and they quoted me about half of your quote, on top of that they come to your house/work to do it!

Might worth asking your original dealership to check your purchase transaction, as both our 2022 purchases came with first service plan as part of the package.
Don’t know, just suggesting worth checking. You can also ring VW UK and ask them for the service plan reference number associated with your car reg.

Just had mine done, VW dealer (Lookers, Walton-on-Thames)...
To breakdown the inspection charges (paid by leasing company, item prices exc. VAT):
  • 1st ID Service (inc Screen wash - mine was full so they left me a bottle of it) - £129.09
  • Replace Pollen Filter (parts & labour) - £43.79
  • C/O Brake Fluid change (parts & labour) - £37.76
  • c/o recalls 97FS & 55N1 (not sure) £0.00
NET: £210.64 VAT: £42.13 TOTAL: £252.77
