Chris, German youtuber with an ID.3 and close contact with VW, has just shared that the Over-the-air (OTA) updates to v3.x will now not happen.
Route from 2.3/2.4 to 3.x will now be another dealer visit requiring a 9 hour process - with VW suggesting you should get a free replacement car for the inconvenience. Details of options for different versions to get to 3.2 explained in the video - although my previous experience suggests UK dealers are 'reluctant' participants.

I just hope that they've solved 3.2 upgrades. 3.2 to 3.4/3.5 and also 3.2 to 4 when it's eventually released.

I have just had the 3.2 software installed as part of the 2 year service. They had to keep it in overnight as with other updates but all went very smoothly. Have not really had a chance to play with it but do like the new view on the drivers console and also the fact that % battery life is now shown all the time.....
