How long between 2.4 and 3.0 update ?

Just wondering how long the gap is between having the 2.4 update &12v battery change and then getting the 3.0 update? Our ID was updated to 2.4 a month ago so I am interested in how long people typically have to wait for the OTA update to 3.0. Or is everyone still waiting?

It will be 2 months for me next week since v2.4 and still no sign of v3.0.

Nobody outside Germany has received 3.0 OTA yet, they are still trialling it with a certain amount of cars in Germany before rolling it out to other countries.

My car got delivered yesterday morning and as much I will use the excuse I'm on nights at the moment so had only been asleep for 3 hours when it turned up, I'm fairly sure it had 3.0 installed!

I'll try n confirm it later when I get home

Thanks for the Comments. Guess I will just have to be patient and wait for 3.0, maybe VW are nervous about the OTA part of the update?

OTA upgrade 2.4 --> 3.0 has been delayed, BatteryLife reports.....



It seems like you can, by joining the Facebook ID Drivers Club, opt to be a guinea pig for the update in the next trial, starting in the next few weeks. Any subsequent bricking ("temporary disablement") of your car will surely be fixed at VW's earliest convenience, which is reassuring.

Has anyone heard anything more about this? I’ve asked VW and UKVW online and all I got was a weblink inviting me to subscribe to a help page… for a fee. Seems like VW are ducking the question.
